Every December the predictions arrive, and most of them describe a workplace nobody actually works in.
The Instahyre Hall of Fame closes the year differently. It puts the people who ran hiring through the year in one room and asks what actually changed, what they got wrong, and what they are building next. No forecasts, no trend decks.
This edition centres on one question: what does the 2026 workplace look like from inside a talent function that has to staff it?
Deloitte’s 2026 Global Human Capital Trends, a survey of more than 9,000 business and HR leaders across 89 countries, found that a third of workers absorbed as many as 15 major changes in a single year, while only 27% of respondents thought their organisation managed change well. That is the conditions report for the year these two leaders are planning inside.
A Blueprint, Not A Forecast
A forecast tells you what might happen. A blueprint tells you what to build. The Instahyre Hall of Fame is deliberately the second one.
Anitha Gangolli, who leads talent acquisition at Roku, and Rabi Agrawal, Head of Talent Acquisition at Cashfree Payments, walk through decisions they have already made about team structure, hiring philosophy, and what they are willing to promise people, along with the reasoning behind each call.
The pairing is the point. One runs talent inside a global product company, the other inside a high-growth Indian fintech. Where two leaders in very different contexts land on the same answer, that answer is probably worth borrowing.
What The Instahyre Hall Of Fame 2025 Covers
Six threads run through the session.
What actually stuck from last year. Separating the shifts that changed how work happens from the ones that generated conversation and then quietly faded. This is the segment the Instahyre Hall of Fame is built around, and it is the one that tends to surprise people.
Where the two contexts diverge. A global product company and a scaling fintech face different pressure on the same decisions. The disagreements are more instructive than the agreements.
The structural calls behind 2026 teams. Span of control, team design, and where headcount is genuinely moving rather than where the plan says it is.
Which conversations talent now owns. Some decisions moved toward the talent function this year and some moved away from it. Knowing which is which changes how you spend your influence.
What each leader changed their mind about. The beliefs about hiring and work they held a year ago and no longer hold.
The bets worth making. Practical calls each of them is backing for the year ahead, stated plainly enough that you could argue with them.
Why This Episode Is Different
Most Roundtable episodes solve a specific problem. The Instahyre Hall of Fame exists to step back, which makes it the one worth watching before your annual plan gets locked rather than after.
The Instahyre Hall of Fame is also the only episode where the value sits partly in the disagreement. Two leaders with genuinely different constraints reach different conclusions on camera, and the reasoning on both sides is more useful than a single confident answer would be.
Who Should Watch This
Talent acquisition and HR leaders writing a 2026 plan. Founders deciding how to structure hiring for the year. Anyone who joined the Instahyre Hall of Fame live and wants the parts they missed. Anyone who has sat through a trends presentation and wondered what any of it means for the requisition open on their desk right now.
If you want the fuller picture, the Instahyre Hall of Fame runs every year and the 2024 edition is worth watching alongside this one to see which calls held. Quiet Growth In A Loud Hiring World covers the same shift toward disciplined growth from a different angle.
